Newly appointed Minister of Green Economy and Environment, Dr. Gilbert Siame a former University of Zambia (UNZA) lecturer today paid a courtesy call on UNZA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mundia Muya.

During the meeting, Dr. Siame outlined his vision for the ministry and pledged to establish a strong partnership with UNZA to help execute key initiatives.

Prof. Muya congratulated Dr. Siame on his appointment, stating that it serves as a testament to the high caliber of expertise UNZA contributes to national development. Describing Dr. Siame as a transformative leader, Prof. Muya expressed full confidence in his ability to excel in his new role.

Dr. Siame joins fellow UNZA academic Dr. Doubt Chibamba, who serves as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment
